Welcome to my weight watchers journey! I’ll be sharing my successes, struggles, recipes and more importantly my confessions. I would love to hear your stories too.

Weight Watchers

Forgive me weight watchers for I have sinned. I am currently sat on a well know train line first class on the way back from working away and have had 2 glasses of red wine, fish chips and pea ‘fritter’ followed by cheese and biscuits! This however is only half the picture. I have been away for 2 days and 1 night and have consumed about 200 pro proints! It started well with a trip to the gym before heading out followed by fruit salad on the train-then a little slip up with a shortbread chocolate chip biscuit. Once I arrived in London I had a low fat prawn sandwich. so far so good. However, 5.30pm arrived which only means one thing in my head office PUB TIME! After 2 (large) glasses of wine I headed to my hotel to be told there was over an hour wait on food so there was only one solution-I feel that I should tell you at this point that I am also a cheese monster and would quite happily live on it for the rest of my life-so a trip to the local supermarket saw me pick up a bottle of red wine, some Jarlsberg and St Agur with some brown sandwich thins to go with it-see so I was still kind of thinking with a weight watchers head.
I didn’t eat or drink all of the items which is classed as me ‘being good’:)
This morning saw a hotel breakfast of mushrooms, scrambled eggs and a piece of toast. Good start to the day! I was then faced with a HUGE plate of the most delicious looking biscuits. Something else I should tell you is that I don’t really have a sweet tooth but they looked so good it would be unfair to the biscuit to not have a little bit of shortbread. Lunch was a beautiful cheese coleslaw salad baguette and then we arrive at the point where we started-you don’t need to know about the large glass of red I had at the train station.
So there are my sins. I am terrible when I work away, which I do on numerous days of the month. Here’s looking forward to a fresh day tomorrow-think I’ll celebrate with a glass of red when I get home! Cheers xx
