Back To School

All the schools are back now so I decided that this week I’m going back to school too-not literally, but I’m giving myself lessons in English (reading recipes), Art (getting creative with new foods), Maths (weighing, measuring and portion size) PE (gym plus a new exercise class) computer studies (utilising Google plus various Facebook groups for food ideas) and-as it was known when I was at school-Home Economics (cooking). I even have a blackboard with food ideas on!
So far on the blackboard I have:
Teriyaki scallops and veg
Quorn Spag Bol with courgette ‘spaghetti’
Aubergine lasagne
Leek Cannelloni
Tuna pasta bake
Aubergine and chick pea bake
I’m hoping for an A in Health Studies (weight loss) by Friday
I’ll update you at the end of the week and let you know how my first week back at school went

  1. Thanks. I used to do weights and boot camp style classes with Her Fitness but the lady who runs it took a break back in May and she’s brought a new workout back to get ready for Christmas. It’s strengthening exercises opposed to high impact. Love her classes. Can’t wait to do it on Thursday 🙂
