I lost 3lb this week which I was really pleased with. As I’ve said before I’m not one of those people who lose 3lb a week-I’m over the moon with a 2-it goes on quick and comes off very slow!
So what did I do this week that made a difference? I tracked (well almost-I had some cheese on Sunday night that I actually wrote on my tracker but decided I wasn’t going to count as I didn’t like what it came to 😉 )
I went out for a meal on Saturday and I checked the menu beforehand and decided on lemon sole as its so low in points plus even though my husband and I split a garlic bread I gave him half of mine too. Look at me with my angel head on 😇
I got back to the gym too and eaten lots of salad in various different forms. I had a gorgeous roasted pear, Gorgonzola and walnut salad one day
However I’ve done all that before and never had a big loss so I read my journal to see what else it might be.
It then occurred to me that I hadn’t eaten pasta all week and only had potatoes once and even then it was only 4 small baby potatoes. I was then reminded when I had a loss after a not too great week and I hadn’t had potatoes all that week either. So maybe spuds are not for me!
Our bodies and all different. I know someone who puts on weight when they eat bananas.
Maybe it’s a coincidence or maybe potatoes are my demon food.
