Good morning! I have mentioned a few times about the training I have been doing for my new role and it’s time to ‘fess up about it.
Are you ready???
Last night I passed my final assessment to be a Weight Watchers Leader!
I am so excited by this. It’s a role that I’ve thought off on and off over the years but it used to only be available to Gold members and now that’s more relaxed, which is great as it means I’m heading to goal with my members-and you lovely lot! As you know my background is in training and I have always loved supporting and coaching people to achieve their goals and what better goal than a life changing weight loss goal.
I have cried during my training when I’ve heard and seen people’s weight loss achievements-we all know that losing weight isn’t easy and knowing that I’ll be part of that journey and achievements blows my mind. I have already told my area manager that I will need a bucket next to my scales due to how emotional I will get when my members hit their personal goals, targets and gold 😊
I might now be a leader but I am still a Weight Watchers member and therefore will still have my confessions-although I have spotted my angel in a sweatband and boxing gloves ready to take on the devil when he pops up to lead me astray 😉
I’m going for a bit of an Oscar moment but I really need to thank everyone who reads my blog, the wonderful messages that I get and my leader who (on the back of my Hippos Wallow blog) suggested I be a leader because without all of that I would never had had the confidence to apply. I also have been lucky to get an amazing mentor.
Here’s to a new chapter!
